Photographers like doing engagement shoots in Northern Virginia, its the best way to start a working relationship with your clients. I really enjoy these kind of photo shoots, its relaxed, easy and fun. Lots of time the goal is to just get a handful of pics of the couple for them to use at their wedding, as their guest book, or a photo montage, or in a nice frame next to their signing table. For those engagement session we meet for an hour and shoot away. Here are just a few images of some recent engagement session we’ve done.
This first set was of Betty & Doug. Doug’s a firefighter, and he and his station gave use full access to the firehouse, and even gave us a ride in the big hook & ladder truck! It was a thrill! We drove the truck through town to a park, and set up some shots with the fire truck as our backdrop! Betty then took all the engagement photos and made a quilt make from them!

This next set of engagement shots is of Tina and Scott. We choose an arboretum to shoot at. It was a beautiful spring day, flowers popping out everywhere. We strolled around for an hour, founds some neat places, and shot away.
