Jen & Tim – Leesburg VA Wedding Photographer

April fools these guys aren’t, but their wedding day was. This was my 2nd April fools wedding photography shoot, and this time in Leesburg VA at Riverside on the Potomac. I love these guys, we all connected immediately when we did their engagement several months prior. There couldn’t be any nicer couple to work for, warm and generous and plain ole fun! As for their wedding, perhaps one of the most unique I’ve shot. For starters, Jen rode in on her horse and Tim had no idea until she came riding in, it was totally awesome and was part of their April fools jokes to each other. And for Tim, he choose their their first look for his April Fools joke and dressed in a kilt, the look on Jen’s face was priceless! The venue and grounds are pretty spectacular, an old house up on a hill where Jen was getting ready, a patio area down by a lake with a great view for ceremonies which is really beautiful, and a barn with converted stables below for event gatherings and an upper larger event hall where they have receptions. Overall just a supper pleasant day with some supper nice people and a wonderful wedding. I’m so fortunate to have meet these two and to have been a part of their big day!
