Grace & Barrett – Leesburg VA Wedding Photographer

You can’t tell from the photos, but it was a pretty darn cold & blustery day, and I was the Leesburg VA wedding photographer this day at Lansdowne Resort for a wedding. But the cold wind didn’t even seem to be noticed by Grace and Barrett as they took their vows. And I’d swear a kind of wedding-day-force is with couples on their big day. I was covering both wedding photography and video for this couple, which always makes for a busy day for us – which on this day was not made any easier with the wind blown cold. Their ceremony was small and intimate, and decorated by one of the most vivid flower arrangements I can recall seeing. Afterward the couple and I grabbed two golf carts and darted around the golf course getting solo pics. It was cold man, and windy – I think I mentioned that already, and driving the cart in the freezing cold wind with both of my Nikon rigs sliding around on the golf cart seat was let’s say – a challenge! Hoping out quickly to grab shots here and there on the greens or on a bridge, and in a field with like 10 deer! My fingers were actually numb after all that. But, I love a good challenge, and hopefully I rose to the test to help this couple get some great wedding photos! Barrett & Graces family and friends were very welcoming, which helped warm me up!
